Champagne Flute

A relative newcomer to the glassware family, the flute is a glass specifically designed to hold champagne. Tall and elegant with a narrow aperture, the shape of the glass mimics the linear route of champagne bubbles. The narrow opening also preserves the effervescence of champagne, and is one reason why the champagne coupe has to an extent lost favor with bubble devotees.
