Pineapple Cup (Variation on Jerry Thomas recipe: 1862)

So prized was this exotic fruit that Georgian hostesses actually rented them for dinner parties. This punch is a modern representation of a very old recipe. A storm of fruit and a true centerpiece.

Peel, slice and cut up a ripe pineapple and place into a bowl
Add: juice of 2 oranges
4 oz (100ml) raspberry syrup
4 oz (100ml) maraschino liqueur
4 oz (100ml) Belvedere Citrus
4 oz (100ml) Belvedere Orange
One bottle Moet & Chandon Rose NV
Shaved ice

Add all ingredients to the punch bowl and stir. Garnish with raspberries and mint and serve.
