Proudly Made from Rye, Water, Character
Only the most dedicated and passionate dare make Polish Vodka. With the most rigorously regulated vodka laws on the planet, there are no short cuts for quality or consistency. Every step of production must occur on Polish soil with locally-sourced raw ingredients. Belvedere uses Dankowskie Rye from the Mazovian plains of Poland and water from its own proprietary wells to create this luxury vodka. It's an integral part of what makes Belvedere proud to serve your palate.
Belvedere Vodka hails from the small town of Zyrardów, in the Mazovian plains of central Poland, where it is crafted in a 100 year old distillery.
In 1993, Belvedere Vodka made its official launch, creating a new standard in vodka. Launched to both critical acclaim and commercial success, this luxury vodka was quickly followed.
Belvedere, which means “beautiful to see” is named after the Belweder Palace in Warsaw, home of the Polish President. An illustration of the palace appears on each and every bottle, reinforcing that Belvedere Vodka is both beautiful to see and taste.
Know the Difference
At Belvedere we do not go out of our way to make overt claims about our vodkas. We humbly and respectfully appreciate the votes of excellence from those who know the difference. Belvedere continues to be the recipient of many remarkable achievements making us the most awarded luxury vodka. This is seen in the endless praise from the likes of the Vodka Masters, the International Spirits Challenge, TheFiftyBest.com Vodka Awards and other respected industry voices. Thanks to those who most recently awarded Belvedere Vodka Producer of the Year at the 2015 International Spirits Challenge!
"Vodka Producer of the Year is a phenomenal achievement for Belvedere, confirming its unparalleled commitment to product quality and consistency. We are extremely honored to be the first vodka to receive this award, from one of the highest authorities in the drinks industry."
- Charles Gibb, President of Belvedere Vodka
Make the Difference
Belvedere is as passionate about our impact on the world as we are about our vodka. Social responsibility, environmental and agricultural impact as well as responsible drinking are built into our culture. Belvedere prides itself on being recognized as a globally responsible, locally sensitive company.
Belvedere in Green
In partnership with its agricultural distilleries and the Biotechnological University of Lodz, Belvedere launched the Raw Spirit Program to promote sustainable growth of Dankowskie Rye, used in Belvedere Vodka. The initiative led to Belvedere's involvement with programs to seek out and protect the best raw materials, while working closely with authorities to ensure Polish vodka standards remain the world's highest and most exacting.
Belvedere in (RED)
Since its launch in 2011, contributions from the sale of (BELVEDERE)RED have provided funding for more than 6.5 million days of life-saving HIV/AIDS medicine. That's enough to support more than 12,500 HIV positive women with access to treatment during pregnancy and breast-feeding, thus helping to prevent transmission of the virus from mother to baby. 50% of Belvedere's profits from each (BELVEDERE)RED Special Edition bottle go directly to the Global Fund. A Special Edition, indeed.
