Belvedere Vodka is created by a collective.

From our eight local Polish rye sources, to our family of employees who distill Belvedere in our hometown of Zyrardów in Poland, our shared mission is to nourish the land we share and protect its natural character for future generations.

Green Energy

We have reduced our energy-related CO2 emissions by 42% since 2012. Now, we want to go further. By 2022, our goal is to reduce energy-related CO2 emissions by 80% with a groundbreaking zero-waste energy project.

Developed in collaboration with three Polish universities and backed by the European Commission, we will capture biomass from distillery waste to create our own green fuel. By 2025, we aim to be self-sufficient, generating 100% renewable energy for the distillery and surrounding businesses.

Organic Product

From 2021, all of Belvedere’s product innovations will be organic. Having received our certification for organic production, we are currently working with our agriculture partners in Poland on the transition to 100% organic farming. Our goal is to eliminate the use of all pesticides by 2030.

Sustainable Packaging

Sustainable packaging is a key priority for Belvedere. We are currently auditing all vendors in our supply chain to ensure compliance with a new green code of conduct. By 2025, our goal is to reduce the use of plastic by 50%.

Local Sustainability Initiatives

Belvedere’s distillery has a long history in supporting sustainability within our community. Only sourcing our Polska rye locally, we have worked to nurture long-term relationships with Polish agricultural sources and are the co-founders of the Foundation for Local Environmental Protection.

We also started the Raw Spirit Program, launched in partnership with the Technical University of Lodz to promote the sustainable growth of Polska rye.
